This realization embarked the journey of HECT – in 1998 with the establishment of Hindusthan College of Arts & Science (HICAS), one of the finest Arts & Science college in Tamilnadu which still remains the flagship institute of the group.

The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is focused on restoring the health and functional abilities of people with pain after acute illness or injury such as stroke, spinal cord injuries, heart and other surgeries, amputation, joint replacement, sports injuries or spinal disorders and also a full array of services for the paediatric patient including neuromuscular problems, orthopaedic injuries, sports medicine and the developmental delays

NEONATOLOGY & PAEDIATRIC

Advanced instruments such as Karl Storz endoscope, Magnum IV microdebrider and high definition monitors are available for safe and thorough removal of these polyps. Similarly, Medtronic high speed drill system and cutting edge Carl Zeiss operating microscopes are available for micro-ear surgery

CRITICAL CARE UNIT

It has dedicated ICUs to treat surgical, trauma, Medical, Coronary and neuro cases with total bed strength of 25 beds. It provides good care with the help of a professional team comprising of Qualified Respiratory therapists, ICU Nurse Educators, Critical care nurses, Department secretaries and social workers.
